Who We Are

Mike Morisi has 15 years of experience teaching average people and athletes how to get in the best shape of their lives. Certified by the Cooper Institute as a Physical Fitness Specialist and NSPA as a Certified Conditioning Specialist, Mike spent three seasons with the Washington Redskins as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach and has also trained hundreds of high school and college athletes, firefighters and police. His style of training is not for those looking for an easy workout…..but, if you are serious about getting in the best shape of your life, he will give you the tools you need and guide you every step of the way.

 

Mark Cinq-Mars, is the Norfolk Admirals Strength and Conditioning Coach and newest team member to HybriFit. Mark has over 20 years in the fitness industry. He has trained various type of athletes and individuals, including Miss America, Nicole Johnson (1999). He specializes in sport specific performance training and currently trains high school and college athletes. Mark has a passion for improving individuals overall well being.

 

Jonathan Durham has been involved in the fitness field for almost 10 years. Jon has a Bachelor’s Degree and Exercise, Sport and Health Education from Radford, a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from ODU, and is a Certified Personal Trainer through ACSM. He has worked with a wider variety of clients ranging from high school athletes to active duty military personnel to individuals with physical limitations. His training methods ensure that clients do not get bored and rarely repeat workouts. Jon challenges his clients mentally and physically by regularly introducing new exercises and training methodologies. His approach of quality over quantity helps his clients develop good habits and a feeling of accomplishment. Jon wants his clients to improve their overall health and wellness while gaining the knowledge and skills to maintain a healthy lifestyle for many years.

 

Paul Knapp has 20 years of experience working with a wide variety of individuals ranging from high school athletes to active duty personnel. He uses a variety of training techniques including TRX suspension training, circuit training, and speed/agility training to help clients achieve their goals. Paul has a passion for working with athletes and helping them achieve their goals and become better athletes in the process. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Penn State University and a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Ashford University.

  • Paul is certified through and affiliated with the American Council on Exercise, the Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research, and TRX Suspension Training

 

Jonathan Pareti has four years of personal training experience in a variety of settings and has worked with a diverse clientele. He is certified by the International Sport & Sciences Association and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from The University of Florida. Johnathan uses positive reinforcement along with strong motivation to push my clients forward. A statement from Jonathan: "Functional training is a passion of mine as I love to combine resistance and cardiovascular training to get the most efficient workout possible. I like to draw off my experience as a competitive runner and athlete when conducting high intensity interval workouts as well as plyometric. It is important to me that a workout is entertaining as well as effective. I take great satisfaction in helping my clients achieve all of their health & fitness goals and being there with them every step of the way. I enjoy providing an amicable and fun atmosphere for people to come work out and I look forward to meeting and getting to know everyone that will make HybriFit their health and fitness home."
